Built for carriers running 3 to 10 trucks
Upload a rate con. The load comes back typed and waiting for your yes.
Freight Friend reads the broker, stops, dates and rate from the PDF. When the load delivers, it builds the invoice and the packet your factor gets — and works out each driver's pay on their own deal. What it can't read, it flags — it doesn't guess.

One rate con, start to finish
The same run we'll do with you on a 15-minute call — your rate con instead of our sample.
Step 1
A rate con arrives
A sample rate con from a made-up broker. Yours arrives by email as a PDF — you drop it in as-is. The highlighted fields are what Freight Friend reads.

Bring one rate con from this week. You watch it go through, and you keep the packet.
Where the evenings go
Most small carriers run the office out of an inbox, a spreadsheet and a group text. The rate con gets re-typed into the sheet, the BOL rides home crumpled in the cab, the invoice waits for both, the packet waits for the invoice — and the factor's clock doesn't start until the packet lands. Driver pay gets built from scratch on Sunday. None of it is hard. It's just all of it, every week, at night.
| Stage | In Freight Friend |
|---|---|
| Rate con | Drop in the PDF. The load is drafted and waits for your approval. |
| Dispatch | Assign the driver. The stop shows up on their phone — nothing to install. |
| POD | The driver photographs the BOL at the dock. It lands on the right load. |
| Invoice | The delivered load becomes a print-ready invoice with your numbers on it. |
| Packet | Invoice, rate con and BOL go to your factor in one email you've checked. |
| Paid | Receivables aging shows who owes what, and for how long, until it clears. |
From delivered load to invoice
When a load delivers, Freight Friend drafts its invoice — number, dates, terms and total from the load's own record — ready to print, or to go to your factor inside the packet.

Your drivers never download anything
Freight Friend runs in the phone's browser — added to the home screen, it works like an app: the next stop, one big button, a camera for the BOL, in English, Spanish or Somali.
It keeps working in dead zones and sends when the signal comes back.

Haul for Amazon Relay?
No rate con and no factor there — Amazon writes the invoice. Freight Friend checks Amazon's weekly payment against your trips and keeps the timestamps a dispute needs.
One flat price. Up to 10 trucks.
No per-seat fees and no per-truck tiers. You pay nothing until your factor accepts your first packet.

Why I'm building this
I've spent six years in the office of a 20-plus-truck carrier — dispatcher first, then billing, then safety, now fleet operations. Most of what's in Freight Friend I learned the slow way: a packet that went out three days late, a BOL that rode around in a cab all weekend, a settlement argued over a forty-dollar deduction.
Freight Friend is that office, written down. It reads the rate con so nobody re-types it, it collects the BOL so nobody chases it, and it keeps a person in charge of every send. The software drafts. You decide.
I read every founding-spot request myself. If you run 3 to 10 trucks and your evenings go to paperwork, tell me what yours look like — send one rate con and I'll send back the packet your factor would get.

Straight answers
Who is Freight Friend for?
US carriers with their own authority, mostly 3 to 10 trucks, where the owner still handles dispatch, billing and pay. Founding pricing covers up to 10 trucks — running more, tell us on the form and we'll price it with you.
What's the factoring packet?
One email to your factor with the invoice, the signed BOL and the rate con attached — the same email you'd send by hand, checked before it goes, so it can go out the day the load delivers.
Which factors does it work with?
Any factor that takes packets by email. If your factor only takes portal uploads, put your own email in as the factor address: the packet comes to you complete and checked, and you upload it. We don't push into portals today.
When do I start paying?
Nothing until your factor accepts your first Freight Friend packet. Then $99 a month, month to month, cancel any time. The first 10 carriers keep that price for 12 months, even if the list price goes up.
Do my drivers need to download an app?
No. Freight Friend runs in the phone's browser and can be added to the home screen like an app. It keeps working without signal and catches up when the phone reconnects.
Will the AI change my records?
It only drafts and flags. A load drafted from a rate con waits for your approval, and the assistant that answers questions can only read. Every send — an invoice, a packet — is done by a person on your team.
